Blunt is a bastard! 'He was already broken when he came to us, Tulip. A few more cracks won't matter.' Is he trying to be funny? People can only take so much before they shatter completely. Does he really want that, or does he care so little for Alex? No, don't tell me, that was rhetorical. Please update asap!

Author's Response: I think Alan Blunt's more evil Yassen Gregorovich...and I definitely plan to portray the differences between the two men in this story. Unfortunately, school's taking up a lot of my time right now, but I'm still working on the fourth chapter as often as I can. Thanks for reading, Dragonanzar!

An interesting beginning, I look forward to Yassen's plan unfolding. Of course MI6 couldn't do anything without at least one ulterior motive, that would waste the point of doing anything at all! Thanks for this - I look forward to reading more.

Also regarding a mention of termites in chapter 2, I don't know if this is worth bringing to your attention or not, but the UK only has one termite colony (we are trying to get rid of it, so far unsuccessfully) which is in Devon.

Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, MI6 has an ulterior motive for everything. Can't even send for a cup of tea without it being a part of some vast international government conspiracy. As far as the termites, I knew (as an American writer) I'd blunder something at some point in this story...or did I? Maybe those Brixton termites are just another thread in this tangled web of mystery. Who knows? The answers will all be revealed in the end...!

That last sentence is delightfully chilling - made me shiver in wonderful ways!

My heart was pounding along with Alex's when he thought he was going to see Yassen at HQ. As ridiculous a thought as it was, the anticipation was great. Much love! xx

--- also wanted to say that the ARchive allows stories with inserted pictures to be posted. I did it for one of mine and used a standard html img src tag and it worked ... *cough* hint at your new fic!!

Author's Response: Sweeeeet. If I can stop writing smut for like, two seconds, maybe I can actually get this next chapter finished a bit more quickly. (But really, isn't smut what everyone REALLY wants? ...or is that just me?)

This is really exiting. I wonder what Yassen will do when he comes to London and how James and this new mission fits together. I'll be waiting for the next chapter^_^

Author's Response: Everything will come together eventually...I just need to get my rear in gear and get it written. XD Thanks for reading!
