Author's Response: I'm so glad you liked the sex! With these two - Alex's resistance and Yassen's persistence make the result that much more gratifying when the finally get together.
The next part reveals what Yassen wants from Alex...should be up on Wednesday or Thursday.

Author's Response: I'm glad I was able to make you care about Michael. I always liked him from the start. He's an important part of the plot, so it was vital that he be more than just an 'OC'.

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and commenting. I'm glad you liked it - yeah, I probably am writing Alex a bit too young. It's difficult to try and get away from seeing him as a fourteen-year-old rather than twenty-one.

EEEEEE! I cracked and I read it anyway *bounce* and it's sooo exciting! I'm kicking myself now for being so weak as I'm sure it would have been even more amazing as a looooong sit down of all 11 parts but so exciting!
Your Yassen is wonderfully chilling - I can't figure him out and I love it. And Alex is interesting too - a very different person having followed the route described in the fic that the AHorz route ... Great stuff - excited!!!

I'm glad you caved in ;-) I think because I'd planned posting in 'parts' there is some repetition that might be bothersome to have to sit through if doing the fic in one long read, so I think you're doing good to read a part at a time.

Great story, Alex and Yassen make a very hot couple :)I like that Mrs Jones is in charge now she's so much nicer then Mr Blunt, although she can be seen as neglectful towards Alex in the books. Is the K unit going to make an appearance later in the story?
Author's Response: Thanks so much for your comment - I'm glad you're enjoying it, and I promise to update as soon as I'm through with my Snarry Games story.
I agree that Mrs. Jones wasn't always 'motherly' towards Alex, but I think as she got to know him, she became more protective. I don't think she expected him to live through the Stormbreaker mission, so didn't want to develop an emotional attachement to him.
I don't know that I'll have anyone from K-unit in this particular story, although the finer details are not all worked out and one or two of them may become useful in the storyline. I don't 'know' them as well as I do Yassen, so I'd probably have to research them more before I'd feel comfortable writing them. But I see it as a challenge, and I'm always up for trying something new.

Oh, that goes *way* deeper plot-wise than I'd expected even after the sharp first chapter. Gorgeous backstory and plotting, and excellent hinting-but-not-showing on what Yassen has gone through (it makes imagining even more chilling).
I can't wait to see how you take this further! And how Yassen gets Alex 'entangled' in his plans :).
Author's Response: I'm so glad you like it; Yassen is my favorite character right now. There's so much that can be done with his story and still use elements from canon. Plus, he's just so hot - in a cold and calculating way.
