ROTFL!!! This story is so amazing, especially all the references you managed to make to both pop culture fairy tales that you somehow fit to incorporate AR characters. Yassen was definitely my favorite...oh yes. Definitely. Even in crack you manage to make him awesome. And for once it's an age appropriate match for Alex, I think that's on of the things I appreciate the most. Blunt as the evil fairy-oh, that's too good...

Really good, please make this longer (no slash).

Author's Response: Thanks :). I have a few snippets of that universe floating around in my brain, but being a slasher, that's where things are headed ;).

It's good for such a short one-shot, but then again, who expected anything less than great from you?

I liked the use italics on he, and every for of he. That's about all I can think to write right now for this, but it was good.

Glad you took me up on that advice, I think you'll find a big audience here for this sort of story. Unfortunately, that audience is not me, and as a person that only briefly skimmed your story all I can say is well written it seemed like, and good grammar from what I could tell.

Author's Response: Yes, thank you! I had been thinking about signing up for a while! I'm happy to hear that you like it in general even though you are not into slash! ^^

I have been waiting for this for ever, and it's finally here! A chapter every two days, especially now with SpyFest still running, and every single entry as fantastic as the last, no faults among them? I think I'm in heaven!

It was nice to see Wolf turn around, and I certainly loved all the character re-entrances and introductions that you gave, but what I'm really waiting for is Yassen's appearance. As is everyone, I think. And The Gentleman is in this story? I've always wanted to do a story about him once, he seems interesting. I can't wait to read more, but I guess I have to, don't I? :'(

Fantastic job, as per usual!

Have a great week,

tyz

Author's Response: Aren't we all waiting for Yassen *happy sigh* -- Many thanks for your lovely comment!

Why am I going to hate you? *blank look* Much as I love Alex, we all love it when he get's hurt. Really, really love it, especially with your wonderful writing.

We're kind of all sadistic people, aren't we?

Poor Steven...but at least he will die painlessly. Although it seems sort of peculiar to me that The Gentleman would be able to drag an unconscious person to the deck and toss them overboard without being sighted in a boat full of people, even if it is only a short cruise trip. I suppose now The Gentleman has two roses to send, the woman he killed from the plane and Steven.

Help, Help, Help. How clever..it seems so obvious in foresight! But, and excuse me for sounding like an ignorant American, what is lox? (Yes, I'm too lazy to Google it. Sue me.)

And Alex feels  like he deserves to feel pain because he's causing Steven's death...how aweful, and yet incredibly like him.

Did the Gentleman know Alex's father? HE must have, and it doesn't seem like John was a very nice person...although I suppose he wouldn't be, as an assassin. Maybe it's for the best that Alex no longer feels any connection to his father.

I love the way The Gentleman is pleasant and acts sort of like Julia Rothman when discussing Alex's fate, torturiong and murding people, like a truely manevelont person. Yes, my spelling sucks without spellcheck. :(

The Gentleman is such a perfect character, so perfectly written by you...I just can't get over how perfectly sadistic and SCORPIA like he is. So human!

Almost halfway through and no Yassen yet? But...but..wha? :'(

Author's Response: Thanks for your lovely review - I'm glad you're appreciating the little details that I hope make the story full and complete. Yes, I think The Gentleman would have known John Rider, if only in passing. It's a tight-knit world, as future chapters are about to start to show *wink* ... Lox = cured salmon fillet, yummy for breakfast!

Wow. That was a-m-az-ing. There's really not much too say after a chapter like that; just that I hope to be one day half as good as you.

It still amazes me that people like you can write these amazing, thought out complex stories and get about a fourth of the reviews of some of the most cliched story lines of all from people that have mediocre grammar and flow at best- not that I'm perfect. Not that cliche is particularly bad either; just it get's boring if you don't add your own twists after a while.

-tyz

Author's Response: Thanks for your kind words! Cliche is cliche precisely because it is so popular. Anyone can write a story that attracts hundreds of reviews. That's the easy bit. But writing a story that attracts several *good* review by people who seem interested in/excited by the story and seem to have understood it's intricacies ... that's much harder. I can only hope to be working toward the latter and I really have no interest in playing the game of the former! Of course, it's always nice to hear from people, and I often let reviews influence small changes in the narrative.

A rather unique style of humor, if I say so myself, and the blending together of the scenes created a rather chaotic 'bash you with inane scenes' world.

It sort of reminds me of the styles behind Alice in Wonderland and The Phantom Tollbooth; nonsensical and whimsical yet entertaining and lighthearted.

Good job, all in all.

Skipping the sex scene, and really everything down from when Alex resorted to his ...charms to be saved from possible death, this was, as Captain Jas said, without doubt my favorite story. The details were faboulous; I could see the entire thing playing out like a movie in my mind, and the emotions were perfect for the character they described.

Don't suppose this will be going up on ff? Oh, well I don't really know how the sex thing went but I supposed that makes it too *graphic*. I write better reviews over there, but oh well.

Faboulous story, another read and I think I'll have memorized everything north of slash territory and the very end.

Author's Response: Wow, i'm amazed. Thank you! This is a more than welcome surprise. Yes, i'm starting to put it up on ff.n. Who knows how long it can last there, but i'm happy to put it up and try anyway. No worries about skipping the sexual parts, everyone has their own comfort levels and i'm sure you can understand the rest of the story. Thanks again, i'm happily surprised you liked it!

If there's one thing I could have used after the exhaustive days with no free time that I've been having lately, it's a good, non-slash story by one of my favorite authors about my two favorite characters. And a Harry Potter crossover to boot! I can say that I certainly wasn't expecting him when I saw 'and one other character to boot'!

If only this had been a bit longer...the possibilities immaginable with the sarcastic wit of both teens...

The parrallels you drew between the two were excellent, though; both Harry and Alex would not want another one hurt instead of them, both try not to hurt others(though it's often inevitible), the same anger they would both react with when told to just walk away (sort of like Alex was) - come to think of it, they're almost half of the same character qualities.

Great job =D

Have a great day,

tyz

*laughs* Oh my...brilliant. Err...Alex cussing out Blunt and your story, that is.

Many that have an Alex that has nothing left that matters to him make their Alex depressed/suicidal. While some of those stories are amazing, I still think I prefer your version of an Alex that is just waiting for the day when he turns 18 (although I've read something about it being 16 in the UK I think, do you know whether that's him being a legal adault at 16 in the UK, or am I just sleep deprived?) so that he can leave and do his own stuff. Not carig about what those in command of his life telling him to do because they have no true power over him...that's more Alex I think.

The subtle lines about how his life has changed over the past year or so are brilliant too. 'They'd have to dig her up to ship her out', etc.

Also, your idea of world domination just became (the idea for)my facebook status, and since I go onto that site about once every 2 weeks it'll probably stay there awhile ;)

Three points for uncreativity on my part!

Brilliant story,

Have a great day
